Corrections policy
Last updated 27 August 2026.
This site publishes factual claims about real products and real companies — what a label says, what a certifier's database lists, what a retailer charges. Some of those claims will be wrong. This page says what we do about it.
How to report an error
Email support@delivereddose.com. You do not need to explain who you are or why you are asking.
A link to the page and a sentence about what is wrong is plenty. If you can point to a source — a certifier listing, a product label, a retailer page — it will be faster, but it is not required. We will do the looking.
What happens next
- We acknowledge within two business days, even if we have not finished checking.
- We check it against the primary source — the certifier's own database, the printed label, the retailer's own page — rather than against our notes about it. If we cannot resolve it from a primary source, we say so rather than guessing.
- Clear factual errors are corrected within five business days of us confirming them, usually much sooner. Things that need a third party to answer — a certifier clarifying its own scope, for instance — can take longer, and we will tell you where it stands rather than going quiet.
- If a claim is disputed and we cannot yet settle it, we mark it as disputed on the page while we work it out. We would rather show an open question than a confident wrong answer.
How corrections are recorded
Every fact on this site carries a source record with a date, and the whole data set is version-controlled. When something is corrected, the change and its reason are written into that record — so a correction is visible on the page rather than quietly overwritten.
Where an error was material — it changed which product we recommended, or whether we described something as certified — we say plainly on the page that it was wrong and what it said before. Our own methodology documents carry these notes too: How we compare exists partly to record where we have been wrong.
If you are the brand or the certifier
Use the same address and you will get the same process. Two things worth knowing:
We will correct any factual error about your product quickly and without argument. What we will not do is remove an accurate statement because it is unflattering — including “we checked this certifier's database and did not find this product”, which is a fact about our search and is labelled as one.
If you tell us something about your own product that a certifier's public listing contradicts, we will record what you told us, say plainly that it conflicts, and go with the certifier until the certifier says otherwise. That has already happened once, and the reasoning is published.
What this policy does not cover
Prices and stock change constantly, and every price on this site shows when it was last checked. A price that has moved since we recorded it is out of date rather than wrong, and the fix is a fresh reading rather than a correction — though telling us is still useful. Always confirm the price on the retailer's own site before buying.
