Is magnesium glycinate actually all glycinate?
9 of the 26 products whose panel we have read name more than one salt. A Supplement Facts panel has to say which compounds the magnesium comes from. The product name does not, and the two do not always agree.

This is not an accusation of mislabelling. The panel is the legally binding statement and it discloses the blend correctly; it is the product name that does not. It matters because the second salt is usually cheaper and denser in magnesium, so a blend can hit the same elemental figure at lower cost, and because someone choosing glycinate specifically is choosing it over oxide.
